NEBRASKA COLD STORAGE
This project converted a derelict building that had sat unused for over 10 years into a freezer, cold storage facility. The building is projected to house over 5000 pallets when completed
WR RESERVE - KOSHER BEEF PROCESSING PLANT
This project is an upgrade to existing processing areas of the WR Reserve plant. Specifically, Lacy Construction has been tasked to upgrade the infrastructure and building to allow installation of all new equipment on the Kosher production side or the operation.
SANDOZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, LEXINGTON
This project was an 8200SF addition with 2200 SF of renovation to create 8 new classrooms and to repurpose underused space into a cafeteria space for elementary students.
HORNADY MANUFACTURING, INC.
The Lacy Construction team has completed a new, 150,000-square-foot distribution center and powder blending facility for Hornady Manufacturing, Inc. in Alda, Nebraska. Hornady Manufacturing is one of the largest independent producers of ammunition in the world, having designed and manufactured premium ammunition since 1949.
STARR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Starr Elementary is an archetype for a modern elementary school, financed by an $18 million bond issue Grand Island voters approved in early 2015. Located at 1800 South Adams Street, the school boasts 80,000 square feet of cutting-edge design and the latest in technology from its fiber-optic wiring to its HVAC system.
FRIESEN FORD
The new 18,751-square-foot Friesen Ford dealership consists of a new showroom, drive-in service center, write-up lanes, a parts department, a 10-bay service department and plenty of storage space. There is a large mezzanine that holds the HVAC equipment, as well as the parts storage.
PERFORMANCE PLUS LIQUIDS, INC.
When Performance Plus Liquids, Inc., chose Lacy Construction to remodel a 115-year-old, two-story brick structure in downtown Grand Island, Nebraska, neither expected the many historical surprises that greeted them at every turn.
